Big Bad Wool is a small company with simple ideas exclusively for 'baby'. Dedicated to developing and sourcing baby friendly products for knit and crochet, you won't find anything but baby.
Weepaca, is our flagship yarn, weighing in at light worsted. It's an incredibly soft natural blend of fine washable merino and baby alpaca. Each 50 gram hank measures 95 yards [86 meters]. Using the same blend of fibers, we now offer pea weepaca, a fingering weight yarn. Each 50 gram hank measures 175 yards [160 meters].

Founder
Hi and welcome! I'm Donna Higgins, founder of Big Bad Wool. Once a local yarn store owner, I was faced with the challenge of offering a cohesive 'baby' selection in my own shop. I set out to find a solution and instead created a very special product line that I want to share with the fiber world.
Our products are made especially for baby while also creating an enjoyable experience for the knitter and those who crochet. I'd like to think we've thought of everything, and then some!
Finished projects are meant to be worn, washed and cherished. Wear it out!
