a seamless top down raglan style cardigan for girl or boy.   simply change up the buttonband and you have one or the other.

sizing:  3 mo (6 mo, 12 mo, 2t, 3t, 4t)

gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows over 4 inches using larger needle

yarn:  2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins weepaca by Big Bad Wool [50% fine washable merino / 50% baby alpaca; 95 yds / 86 m]

tools:  size 7 (4.5 mm) and size 8 (5 mm) 24” or longer circular needle,  a set of 5 DPN’s, stitch holders,stitch markers, removable stitch makers

notions:  2 – 7/8-inch buttons for girl version and 5 - 5/8-inch buttons for boy version

note:  Smallest size requires exactly 2 skeins.   Check your gauge and knit as written to avoid running short.

Many knitters have a different tension when knitting in the round versus back and forth.  You may need to size up your needles when working sleeves, if you tend to knit more tightly in the round.

Skills Recommended:  cable cast on, M1 increases, top down raglan experience preferred, working in the round with DPN's, button holes using a yo and/or a double yo, picking up stitches for button band.

Become familiar with the abbreviations used in this pattern before you begin.

    Lovely wee cardie and easy to download pdf pattern

    Thought I might knit some of these during lock-down and give them to one of the local charities. I wouldn't mind one of these sized up to fit me! Easy to download, good value. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing yarn through BBW as I'm in the UK. Stay safe all. I hope you are doing okay over there in the USofA.
